Speaker: Dr. Minna Isomursu, Professor of Digital health at University of Oulu
Abstract: Prof Isomursu will discuss the crucial role that health plays in building a sustainable society. Healthy individuals are the foundation of a thriving community, stable society and robust economy. The talk with explore how digitalization can help achieve sustainable health by increasing access to healthcare, empowering patients and improving healthcare delivery.
In her talk, prof Isomursu will share her thoughts about how digitalization of care pathways, health data sharing and digitalization skills and competence development can help us to achieve more sustainable health. The talk will emphasize that sustainable health is essential in creating a sustainable society, and digitalization can play a significant role in achieving this goal.
Short bio: Minna Isomursu is a professor of Digital health at University of Oulu. Currently, she is working in 6GESS – 6G enabling sustainable society – programme, which aims to build strategic competence at university of Oulu on how 6G technologies can help in creating sustainable healthcare in our society. Prof Isomursu has previously worked in academy and in industry (e.g. Nokia Mobile Phones), in Finland and abroad (e.g. IT University of Copenhagen).
